Stihl RT 4097 SX Ride-On Mower

With the ability to mow lawns of up to 6000m², the Stihl RT 4097 SX ride-on mower is a side-discharge mower perfect for those less formal lawns. With not having a grass collecting box, it is a very compact size and extremely practical especially for those who want to be able to cut with speed and efficiency. A high degree of driving comfortability and easily arranged controls to offer thought-out technology for an effortless working environment. 

Benefiting from Stihl's single pedal drive, the travel of the mower can be conveniently switched between forward and reverse via the use of a hand lever. This precise manoeuvrability makes the mower perfect for lawns with flower beds and shrubs. A separate break pedal ensure immediate stopping while the pressure-sensitive pedal allows for accurate control of speeds when going between top speed and standstill.

Designed to achieve a high mowing performance and a top-quality finish, the RT 4097 SX has simply controlled central cut-height adjustment via a lever next to the driver's seat. Operators can select from eight steps of height to find a level ideal for any garden. The electromagnetic blade clutch mowing deck can be easily engaged or disengaged by a switch situated on the central control panel. 

The grass guide system is located on both sides of the mowing deck, ensuring grass is gathered across the whole mowing width and is guided towards the cutting blades. Ideal for those who want a speedy cut, the side discharge allows the lawn to be mown in a short time with clippings not needed to be emptied. This discharge allows for natural fertilisation of the lawn with the mulching blades shredding the cut grass into small particles which are automatically distributed evenly over the turf.

Overall the RT 4097 SX is designed with user ability in mind. The robust framed construction gives the mower a high level of stability and driving comfort. This is boosted by the seat being easily adjustable without tools to allow for individual comfort to be prioritised. A low step on height means the mower is accessible for a wide range of users and also has ample legroom.

With a compact design, the mower is great for using attachments such as the AGW 098 garden roller or the PICK 300 tilting tiller. While the turf tyres help protect the lawn it is cutting due to there rounded design which reduces the formation of driving tracks.
